Used Volvo S80 for Sale in New York, NY

Volvo introduced the S80 in 1999. It was Volvo’s largest sedan, and that first-generation model set the design template for two decades of Volvo models to follow. The second-generation S80 went on sale in 2007. It was about the same size as the car it replaced but added some extra interior room and more safety features. Engines included an inline six-cylinder, a turbocharged inline six, and V8. All-wheel drive was standard with the two more powerful engines. By 2011, the V8 model was gone. Another infusion of safety systems arrived in 2012, and in 2014 Volvo updated the styling and improved powertrain responsiveness. A new turbocharged four-cylinder engine debuted in 2015, powering the car’s front wheels through a new eight-speed automatic transmission. It was the only powertrain available in 2016. Volvo replaced the S80 with the S90 in 2017.
