Car Overview
Ford Focus
The Ford Focus was a compact car known for its everyday practicality and available performance. Ford brought the model to the U.S. market as a 2000 model. During its 18-year run, the Focus came in coupe, hatchback, sedan, and station wagon variants. From value-priced four-doors to high-performance hatches pumping out 350 horsepower, there was a Focus flavor for every driving palate. Those looking for a green-leaning alternative could choose the Focus Electric. Nevertheless, consumer preferences for SUVs played a factor in the car’s demise. Ford discontinued the Focus when its product strategy shifted toward electrification and its “iconic” nameplates. At one point, the Focus was the world’s best-selling model. But it departed the U.S. after the 2018 model year.
